The short version

Reading casinoblox.co.nz costs nothing because operators pay us when someone signs up through our links. What follows explains how that payment works, what it can influence and where we draw the line – including the casinos we refuse to list, whatever they offer.

Who holds the agreements

Ixoria Web Media N.V., E-Commerce Park, Heelsumstraat 51, Willemstad, Curaçao, publisher of casinoblox.co.nz, is the party to every affiliate agreement. Partnership enquiries: [email protected].

Tracking a referral

Each casino button or logo on our pages points to an address on our domain under /go/. From there you are passed on to the operator, with a tracking code added to the link. Should you register and fund an account, the casino may owe us a one-time payment for each first-time depositor (CPA), a cut of the net gaming revenue earned from the players we referred (revenue share), or a hybrid of both. The bonus on offer to you is identical to what you would see by typing the casino's address yourself.

What payment changes

Commercial terms shape which casinos are listed and in what order; a casino we have no deal with may be missing entirely. Payment buys no higher review score, no gentler wording about playthrough rules and no silence about withdrawal delays. Operators do not get to read a review before publication, and requests to rewrite one are refused.

Commission rates

Individual rates are confidential under the agreements, so we do not publish them. Whether a deal is CPA, revenue share or hybrid makes no difference to how a casino is scored.

Who stays off the list

Casinos that cannot show a named licence, or that make it hard for New Zealanders to pay and withdraw in dollars, are not listed. A casino that loses its licence comes off. No commercial deal overrides those rules.

Marking

Our affiliate links carry the rel="sponsored" attribute, which tells search engines they are paid. Wherever casino offers appear, the age limit and a T&Cs note sit beside the button.

Why this model

Charging readers would shut most of them out, and banner networks would load the pages with promotions nobody here has checked. Taking money from the casinos we review is a conflict of interest, and we prefer to say so openly. Our test for every review: would it read the same if this operator paid nothing? If the answer is no, the review is rewritten.

The New Zealand position

Overseas casinos have no New Zealand licence, and the Gambling Act 2003 limits the advertising of offshore gambling here. Our reviews are written to inform: downsides and risks sit next to the offers, and each operator's regulator is named so readers know who oversees it.

What to take from this

Using our links is free for you, but we profit when you play, so treat our rankings as one input and not as a reason to gamble. Decide on a limit first. If gambling begins to crowd out other things, the Gambling Helpline New Zealand answers on 0800 654 655.

When partnerships change

Agreements begin and end. When one ends we remove or relabel the link, but the review may stay online if the casino still accepts New Zealand players, because readers keep searching for it. A casino is not marked down for leaving our programme, and one that joins is not marked up.

Think a deal has bent a review?

If a ranking or review on casinoblox.co.nz looks to you as though money has shaped it, write to [email protected] with the page address and your reasons. We will look at the page again and answer you.
