How this list is put together. Placement is decided by the offer an operator publishes for New Zealand, how long the site has been running and how widely New Zealand review sites cover it; we are paid by the operators listed, which is set out in our affiliate disclosure. Licences under the Online Casino Gambling Act 2026 are issued by the Department of Internal Affairs from 1 December 2026, so no site holds a New Zealand licence yet — the operators above hold offshore licences. Online casino play is for adults aged 20 and over. Free and confidential help is available from the Gambling Helpline on 0800 654 655.
